Thank you for your interest in Megan Gleeson Photography. Below is some information that should hopefully answer most of your questions and give you an idea of what is involved in a photo session with me.

I am a 30 year old mother of a busy toddler and have enjoyed photography for over 10 years. I specialize in portraits of babies, children and families. My photographic style is natural and uncomplicated. I enjoy capturing unique images of families and children using as much natural light as possible. The simple moments in everyday family life often make the most beautiful images.

The fee per session is $150 for up to 4 people. Each additional person in the session is $25. Payment is due the day of the photo session.

The fee includes my time and materials as well as all of the post-processing editing done to the images. All prints are purchased at an additional cost. I use a professional commercial printer and will coordinate and oversee the printing of your images and will deliver them to you.

A CD of the images (the digital version of negatives) may be purchased and will be yours to keep. Otherwise all images will remain property of Megan Gleeson Photography.

About 1-2 weeks after the initial photo session we will schedule a time to meet where you can look over the images and place your order for what you would like printed. A typical photo session yields about 25-40 edited and ready-for-print images.

Sessions last between 1-3 hours.

I will come to shoot at your home since kids are usually most at ease in their own environment. In order to utilize the best available light in your home and set up the best images, sometimes I need to do some simple rearranging of your furniture such as moving lamps and removing knick-knacks from the background. In nice weather I like to shoot outdoors, so we may arrange to meet at a park or other outdoor location.

All prints are purchased a la carte and prices begin at $10 for a 4x6. Prints are done by a state-of-the-art professional printer on the finest quality archival paper. Custom sizes, canvas gallery wraps, matting and framing services available.

Larger wall prints and custom size prints available. Please contact me for pricing. Print prices are subject to change.
